DOMONT SCHOLARSHIP

2017 Domont Scholarship Winner

2017 Domont Scholarship Winner

The Domont Scholarship was established by the Fabulous Women in 2017 to recognize students who demonstrate compassion, charity, and community spirit.  The award is named after Martha Domont. She was an early supporter of our group as we were becoming established as a nonprofit. Over twelve years, she opened up her health club for us to host charitable fundraisers for the community.  Because of her kindness, we were able to raise awareness about important causes and generate thousands of dollars to help local families and organizations. Martha was unique because she blended her business and charitable goals together.  She had a profound impact on Petaluma families, and she was instrumental in helping our nonprofit take flight.

Our organization is very grateful to Martha and Petaluma Athletic Club.  She has exemplified unconditional love and generosity. As a token of kindness and appreciation, we decided to name our educational grant after her.  It is our desire to empower the next generation and foster young compassionate leaders who will have a positive impact on society. We are proud to serve our community through the Domont Scholarship and recognize students  who bring compassion and service to the world.

Each year students from Petaluma High, Casa Grande, St. Vincent High School and the local alternative high schools have the opportunity to write an essay to describe their passion for charity and be awarded a scholarship by The Fabulous Women. We are extremely proud to invest in the next generation of charitable leaders.
